Inspired by the movement of jazz, its freeform and irregularity, I wanted to embody the visual representation of the music, how I feel as solos takes me away from one planet to another. As the musician starts moving I feel myself leaving this place, twisting and turning through the notes of the scale as I somehow land back right where I need to be.

I have forever been fascinated by the world of geometry and the relationship between black and white. It is so easy to add colours and different shapes out of imagination. Playing Jazz was an exercise on creativity within a set of rules, only triangles, black and white medium & all points touching - although in all good music, the rules can be bent here and there.
